Join The Melbourne Rhythm Project, an innovative collaboration that brings together an ensemble of the finest swing dancers, tap dancers and swing and blues musicians in the business.
Presenting a program of uniquely choreographed dance set to classic swing and blues tunes, award-winning jazz ensemble Leigh Barker and the New Sheiks are joined on stage by tap dancers and lindy hop and swing dancers to whip up a storm of music, rhythm and swing.
Featuring award winning vocalist and violinist Heather Stewart, Leigh Barker and the New Sheiks will perform the freshest and finest Jazz and Blues from the 1920s through to the 1940s – a favourite of swing dancers around the world.
